    Hex Siege

    ๐ŸŽฏ Objective

    Defeat your opponent by reducing either their Player Life (soldier) or Home Life to zero. Use smart plays, dice rolls, and action cards to build a path, stage an attack, or defend your territory.

    Skill Development

    ๐Ÿงฉ Setup

    • Use:
      • Base6 Standard Deck
      • Wild Cards
      • Action Cards
      • Action Wilds
      • 3 uniquely colored dice per player
    • Each player starts with:
      • 1 Home Die set to 3
      • 1 Player Die (soldier) set to 6
      • 6 cards drawn from the shuffled deck
      • A starting “Home Card” placed on the play surface
      • Their Player Token (soldier) placed on their Home Card
    • Leave space between players for building the battlefield using adjoining cards.
    • Use remaining cards as a draw deck, with a shared discard pile.

    ๐ŸŽฎ Gameplay

    ๐Ÿ” Turn Structure

    Each turn, players may perform 2 actions from the following list:

    • Build: Place a card adjacent to your Home or Player position. Must match by rank, color/suit, or be wild.
    • Move: Move your player token to an adjoining card (not blocked by a wall).
    • Attack: If on a card adjacent to your opponent, roll 1 die. If successful, subtract 1 life from the soldier. If on Home, both Home and Player lose 1 life.
    • Retreat: Move one space away from the opponent if adjacent.
    • Discard: Discard one card from your hand.
    • Draw: Draw one card from the draw pile.
    • Quick Draw: Play an action card defensively.
    • Pass: Do nothing.

    At the end of your turn, draw back to 6 cards.

    ๐Ÿ’ฅ Actions & Effects

    • Bomb: Destroys an adjoining card, including Wall cards.
    • Wall: Blocks a space. No movement or building through it.
    • Swap: Move your Home to any other connected card.
    • Skip: Jump over one adjacent card (not through a wall).
    • ?: Can be used as any standard card or action, not both.
    • +/- 1: Adds or removes 1 life during a successful attack.
    • Dice: Roll 2 dice for attack or Quick Draw defense.
    • Reverse: Retreat and draw one card immediately.
    • Recycle: Restore Player to 6 life or Home by 1. Only playable as a main action.

    โš”๏ธ Combat

    • Attack from an adjacent card.
    • Roll 1 die to hit; opponent may counter with valid action cards.
    • If successful and not countered:
      • Subtract 1 from Player life.
      • If Player is on Home, both lose 1 life.
    • If defending from Home, gain +1 to defense roll.

    ๐Ÿ  Home Rules

    • Home starts at 3 life. If it hits 0, you lose.
    • Return to Home to restore Player to 6 life.
    • If attacked while occupied, both Home and Player lose 1 life.
    • Swap card allows you to relocate Home.

    ๐Ÿ† Winning the Game

    • Reduce the opponent’s Player Die to 0, or
    • Reduce their Home Die to 0.

    ๐Ÿ” Game Variations

    Blitz Mode

    Start with 4 cards and only 2 Player Life for a fast-paced experience.

    Domination

    Play with 4 players in a free-for-all or 2v2 format. Teammates share one Home Card.

    Fog of War

    Only cards adjacent to a Player token are considered visible. Opponents cannot affect unseen paths or defenses.
