Base6 Accordion Solitaire
Objective: Collapse all 78 cards into a single stack by following Base6 matching rules.
Setup:
- Shuffle the 78-card Base6 standard deck.
- Deal two rows of 5 cards each (total of 10 cards).
- Keep the remaining cards as a draw pile.
Gameplay Rules:
You may move a card onto another card to the left or upward if it matches:
- Suit (color)
- Rank (number or face card)
Valid Moves:
- Move a card onto its immediate left neighbor or directly above it if it matches in suit or rank.
- Move stacks of cards as a unit if the top card follows the movement rule.
Shifting Mechanism (Auto-Fill Rows):
- After each move, shift all remaining cards to the left to fill gaps.
- If a row has fewer than 5 cards, move the next available card from the next row up to complete it.
- If a row is emptied, the last card in play will start a new row at the end of the previous row.
- Flip a new card from the draw pile to the rightmost open space to maintain 5 cards per row.
Adding More Cards:
- If no moves are available, deal a new row of 5 cards from the draw pile.
- Continue this process until all 78 cards are in play.
Winning & Losing Conditions:
- Win by collapsing all 78 cards into a single stack.
- Lose if all 78 cards are dealt and multiple stacks remain without valid moves.
Strategy Tips:
- Plan ahead to avoid unnecessary row additions.
- Use shifting mechanics strategically to bring useful cards forward.
- Move stacks carefully to control the order of cards and set up future plays.
