Objective
Be the first player or team to create a connection of six hexagons in a straight line (horizontal, diagonal) or in a circle using your bingo chips.
Age Range
7+

15-30 minutes
Game Components
- Base6 Deck: 91 Standard Cards and 13 Wild Action Cards (Bomb, Wall, ?).
- Hexagonal Game Board: A board with hexagonal spaces matching the card icons (colors/numbers). Get it Here
- Bingo Chips or Dry Erase Markers: Different colors for each player or team.
Players
2-6 players or teams.
Setup
- Shuffle the Base6 deck and deal 6 cards to each player.
- Place the remaining deck in the center as a draw pile.
- Each player chooses a set of bingo chips in their preferred color.
- Determine the color chip that will be utilized for a block token.
- Determine the starting player (e.g., youngest or roll a die).
Gameplay
- Turn Sequence:
- On your turn, play one card from your hand by placing a bingo chip on the matching space on the board. The card’s suit/color or rank must match the space or be a Wild Card.
- Draw a new card from the draw pile to maintain a hand of 6 cards.
- If you cannot make a valid move, discard a card face down and draw a replacement.
- Action Cards:
- Bomb (Remove): Remove any single bingo chip from the board. This excludes the Wall Chip.
- Wall (Block): Place a “block” token on a hexagon. This space is now unusable for the rest of the game.
- ? (Choose Remove or Block): Choose to either remove a chip (Bomb) or place a block (Wall).
- Winning Conditions: Be the first player to create a line of six adjacent hexagons in either horizontal or diagonal direction or form a complete circle using 6 chips.
Special Rules
- Hex Blocking: Wall tokens cannot be removed or bypassed. Strategically place them to disrupt opponents.
- Card Recycling: If the draw pile runs out, shuffle the discard pile to create a new deck.
- Unplayable Cards: If you are unable to play a card you can discard it and draw a new card
Variations
- Team Play: For 4-6 players, divide into teams. Team members work together to achieve the objective, sharing strategies but keeping hands private.
- Restricted Wilds: The rank on the wild must match, but can be played on any color
- Tyson’s Rules: Combine (2) of the same color and use for the any rank on that color. . Combine (2) of the same rank and use for any suit/color with that rank.
- Math Rules: Building on Tyson’s Rules, the combination of the 2 cards must be a mathematical operation to the rank being played on.
- Examples: 3+4 = 7, 4-3 = 1 or A, 4×3 = 12 or Q
- Destroyable Wall: The bomb or “?” card can be used to remove a block/wall.
